Oh Bloggy blog how i have missed you...we have been apart for so long!!! Even though i missed you i was having lots of fun with my sister and her family. One of the best things was family pizza night...sure we did lots of other things, but this was fun for everyone.
Colleen let all of the kids knead and stretch their own dough, then sauce it and cheese it up. They even got to choose from an array of toppings. Way to go sister, we should do that again. Not only was it fun but man it tasted good!!!
All the kids got into it, even the big ones. They were all being a little camera shy at first but then they relaxed and i got a few good shots of everyone.
When it was time to eat their own creations they were ready and nobody was disappointed. Kids really do eat more if they make it themselves. **Note to self... get the kids involved more often then perhaps there will be less complaining at dinner time!**

ReplyDeleteAlways a good plan to teach the kids to cook - especially the fussy ones. Of course one would need to sit near by and sew while they cook dinner just to supervise!!
