Heck yeah, that's love. Those things are hard! I make Dan (and now Kevin too) take them to someone else to get their badges/ nametags/ whatever sewn on.
Hey Leslie, do you remember when I posted on my blog that the queen (Rita) had popped in for a cup of tea (made me a contact on Flickr) and you had commented that it had happened to you once when you were on her weekly list...!
That is love. I think I sewed one patch on a shirt once and anything after that I sent him to get it done. I learned my lesson. I do love that everything velcro now. Well, with exception of the hat. :)

ReplyDeleteHat schmat. Look at the lovely maple leaf! Is he a firstie already? ;o)
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is the spring weather slowing down the sewing? No matter what, I've missed your crafty posts!
ReplyDeleteI don't sew on my hubby's patches either that is love.
ReplyDeleteI sew on a ton of boy scout badges - I go between hurting my fingers hand sewing and breaking needles on my machine. No fun either way!
ReplyDeleteYou have a higher calling right now, than to be sewing yourself.
ReplyDeleteSee how you inspired me yesterday with your comment on my blog. You helped ME "git 'er done !"
YEAH CHRIS!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!
ReplyDeletemy husband won't let me seew on his name badges and stuff like that! It's okay - I have too many other things to sew anyway...

So you are in a sewing drought? I haven't been sewing long enough to have one of those, but I'm sure it's around the corner.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. I check daily to see if you've posted. What's the significance of that patch?
