Now What?

I spent the morning sorting scraps. I have a bag of cool, a bag of warm and a bag of light/neutrals....

Now what?






i have been thinking about making something from Sunday Morning Quilts.


 I was inspired by this quilt, and then i saw this project and thought it would be great to use these scraps on too.

Anyone have a favorite, go to scrap/stash busting project that they like to make?

    I saw that block that you showed from Flickr, on this post from FreshLemons. I guess it was from a workshop that they both attended. I love the quilt that is being made in the very first photo.....cool and warm. I have a roll of solid strips that I've wondered over, and this just might be the project for those.

    I made a few string blocks and hope to go through a bunch of my scraps doing more! Scrappy quilts are so beautiful so whatever you choose will be great!

    Good for you for sorting your scraps first. I just made a pillow using scraps and it took forever because I was grabbing scraps out of a big bin to find the right size and color each time.

    Oh I love sorting my scraps too. Loving the log cabin block that you've linked to which is got to be one of my favourite patterns for a scrap quilt.
