While we were enjoying making some Ed Emberley characters, we discovered that our washable stamp pad was not that washable!!! Ugh!! It took days to get it off.

  1. Oh, do I have a painting to show Avery at the NGA next time we get to DC! It's a huge portrait of an old woman all done in finger prints. Very cool to look at.

  2. Ouch! That sounds like something we would have happen at our house...only on picture day, or somewhere where they would have their hands showing for all the world to see!

You, my dear, are a cool mom!

  6. hehehehe - I've had many a messy fingered kid around. For some reason 'washable' never applies to your skin!

  9. I drew "WHS #34" on Charlotte & Liam's cheeks for a basketball game we went to recently... thought I grabbed a red washable marker... I didn't even know I owned markers that weren't washable...that took days to come out, too...
