This was our house project this week. Before and After. My contribution to this was, well, NOTHING! Chris is our house hero!!!! He tore it up(the left) and put it back together(the right), all in just a few days. I know that it felt longer to him but it turned out great and he did a great job.
This here is Avery's first sewing lesson. She had been asking for a long time to have her own sewing machine. She saw a Hello Kitty machine at the store and loved it, and kept asking for it. We thought that she might not be old enough but in the end we broke down, weak parents, and did it anyway. She was so excited she was jumping up and down, her mouth was open and there was no sound coming out! We have done some practice runs and she is doing great. Practice makes perfect.

I did tell Barbara that you made the bread...and what it took for you to get it to rise!!
I love the pic of Avery sewing-- I think I am going to keep it quiet that they make sewing machines for little girls-- Charlotte doesn't need to know this bit of info yet :)
And the bread looks great... I am impressed that you braid bread.
