Rewind

A lot has happened this week at ourhouse. Atleast it felt that way!

This is the bread i made. Cardamom Braid. I have not done it in awhile, but i think it turned out pretty well and as a testimony to that, it all was eaten ! Especially yummy with butter and jam for breakfast the next morning.

This was our house project this week. Before and After. My contribution to this was, well, NOTHING! Chris is our house hero!!!! He tore it up(the left) and put it back together(the right), all in just a few days. I know that it felt longer to him but it turned out great and he did a great job.

This here is Avery's first sewing lesson. She had been asking for a long time to have her own sewing machine. She saw a Hello Kitty machine at the store and loved it, and kept asking for it. We thought that she might not be old enough but in the end we broke down, weak parents, and did it anyway. She was so excited she was jumping up and down, her mouth was open and there was no sound coming out! We have done some practice runs and she is doing great. Practice makes perfect.
