The Fabric is a-Flowing
I admit that i am not keeping up with the fabric that keeps coming in the mail....i have lots of plans, but i am hindered and behind because of older projects that i have yet to finish. But everyone has WIP's, right? I always feel like i am playing catch up! This week i was the happy recipient of several packages, and there are more to come. I just thought that the Cogsmo line by Cosma Cricket was too cute. I love the gears and circuit boards and little jetson like space ships. I also ordered some solids. I have never made a quilt with solids but these colors just drew me in. I loved the variations and how they all looked together...they are bella solids by moda. i ordered all of these from the fat quarter shop. love that place. I had wanted to do a quilt a long at Old Red Barn Company, but i had too many other things to do so i passed but i am thinking now that i might do the quilt a long pattern with these solids....if you have done that quilt with ORBC or seen it tell me what you think. DO you think it would look ok all in solids? the pattern there is called Sugar Free and i am hoping to use it with my swanky jelly roll and layer cake.

I'm also in love with the Cogsmo line. I think the ORBC quilt would look awesome in all solids! I think with patterned fabric it gets overly busy really easily.
Definitely do the ORBC quilt with the solids. I think it will look great. I like the aubergine that you threw in there with the solids. Very pretty.
Love the cute little robot!
hmmmm....I have a name for you. :O)
You are definitely the fabric queen. It's official now.
Cute fabrics. I've wanted to try a quilt with just solids before too but haven't gotten around to it yet. Good luck with yours!
