So i had to take a minute to think about this one...usually it takes me ages to get from start to finish on a quilt. I have about 10 pieced tops in my fabric closet to prove it. however, this one took me under one week. What?!?
i think the reason was it was an experiment...not designated for anyone or anything. Usually they, my quilts, have a purpose and i want to be sure they turn out great. Not so this time. I saw the pattern, thought it looked like fun and ran with it. I refused to let analysis paralysis get in my way when it cam time to quilt. I just threw it on the machine under the walking foot and got to quilting.
And those other projects on my quilt table...well they are still crying out for attention. poor things. Anyone else do this with projects?

I'm so in love w/ this quilt. There must be something genetically programmed in us to like blue and yellow and white together
woops did i say yellow??? silly me - and i've seen this up close too... i meant green... darn computer fools the eye.
Did you quilt by hand?
I also have those experiments that go quickly because I'm just "playing" Beautiful job!
Such a pretty quilt! Ten unquilted quilts isn't too bad. I have read many blogs where they have lots more. LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog. I am now going to check yours out and add it to my blog list.!
Cathy
I'm liking this one too!!!
It turned out great! Love the wavy line in the middle of the big strips - I might steal that idea!
I totally know what you mean about being quicker with the "just playing" projects. I think that's why I love doing the Project Linus quilts. There is no "wrong". :-)
beautiful as always, my dear. I am missing my crafting. Baby gear has taken over my house and I dont know where to put my crafting stuff. I guess I need to go buy a bigger house.

Awesome job, Leslie dear. It's awfully nice to have a project done, isn't it.
so darling. Leslie, how do you do all that you do. :)
oh Mary...i did not hand quilt this one...otherwise it would not have gone so fast.
I like your quilting choice for this one! I actually have only one unfinished project at the moment, an apron I started almost a year ago and set aside when the slippery fabric was too finicky. I'm still pretty new to sewing and quilting so many the UFOs will increase with time.
I love this one Les! I've always been a fan of blue and yellow! So pretty!
