Sew and Tell Friday

Here they are....all four living together happily!!! The last two pillows are complete. I think i got a few measurements a little wonky but it did not matter too much because i could still stuff my old pillows in there.
I had just enough of the old curtain to make a envelope back for each one! Hooray!!
This one, above, is much like my improv wall hanging that i made with Wee Play scraps. I just grabbed and sewed and then quilted it in concentric squares with straight lines.
I chose a disappearing nine patch pattern for this pillow and then i just random straight line quilted it. I love that it made a whirlygig in the middle.

Each one is different but all go together. It is Friday so be sure to go and check out all the other finishes at Amylouwho's.

Love how they all match, but all different!! My favorite is the disappearing nine patch. It is fun to see it sitting next to the nine patch, only a quilter would know the secret!!!

Blessings,

KT

love them! they go so well w/ your couch, too! I still haven't started on the pillows for our L.R. Love yours, I may have to copy off you :) I know, I'm a cheater. I'm going to be on Long Isl for 3 wks or so in March. I hope I can see you! I'm hoping to get up to WP while I'm there. I'll bring a quilt to bind or something so we can fulfill our dream of sewing together. High aspirations, I know! Love Avery's pin layout! She and Joshua would get along well. He loves to "or-nize"

Love all your pillows. They do look great together. I like the random improv piecing idea and your straight line quilting. I tried that recently for the first time and it's such fun. Thanks for sharing.
