When i was going through the picture box looking for pictures of me and my sis I found these. This is my sweet, dear, old(old as in time not as in age!!) friend Deanna. We have known one another since we were little tiny girls, i think we were 3 and 4. We live far apart now but we wish we lived close! That counts for something right?
Somehow we manage to still be close even though time passes and distance keeps us apart. She is wonderful. Trust me you wish she was your friend too! We grew up together and were silly all the time. We were taking the kids to the zoo when we were nannies in this picture above, but ummm where are the kids?
In fact my husband says that when we are together, which rarely happens, we act like a couple of silly carefree teenagers. I take that as a compliment. Friendship is forever, especially the goofy kind!!!
i could not dream up a better friend than her. i know you are reading this Dee and i just wanted to tell you that i love you and miss you. Many years can pass but you can't shake me!! Thank you for talking when i have something to say and/or when neither of us has anything to say at all. You are the best therapist out there. I would owe you a fortune if i really had to pay you!

I can't keep away from the internet today-- just so anxious to hear results. I thought I'd do something useful though and remembered I needed to feed the turtles.
This is a sweet post, dear friend. I love your pictures and Deanna sounds like a really good friend...
there is nothing like a good friend---nothing. you are blessed!
So sweet! I remember the blue popsicle photo!
very sweet :) you know, I've been thinking and thinking and I just can't figure out WHERE Miss Avery gets her proclivity for making funny faces at the camera. Let me know if you figure it out :P
thank you. I needed that today. :o)
Aww, that is sweet. And I have the priveledge of being related to her! :)
What a sweet, sweet post! I have a friend like this too, she lives in Hawaii, but when we see each other we have so much fun together! I miss her and wish we were neighbors!
oh my, i actually got a bit teary reading this, how sweet! my best friend in high school sorta "dumped" me when i went to college and she didnt. still makes me sad to have lost such an amazing friend for so many years. i still have other friends (several from preschool!!) but i still mourn that one special friend sometimes (funny how you can hold on to something like that for so long). you are very lucky les!
