Virginia Highlights, part 1

Mammals...this is what i should be calling this first installment. We have been back for a week and i am just now getting this together. It did not help that picasa was being a pain and not working for me for several days....ugh! i love kid and monkey encounters...in this case a very cute orangutan and a very cute Mitchell.
What? A panda on the move? My sister especially was stunned to see one up and moving and not taking a nap for a change.

Mitchell and Avery hopped right up and volunteered to be temporary dinner for this dinosaur. Funny, funny kids! But, i would have to agree that they are delicious!!

And finally the favorite of all...the prairie dogs. We had several bought's of tears on Mitchell's part because he wanted to see those prairie dogs again and again and again. It was not very hard to agree since they were very cute
