We got spinach and mesclun(we think), bok choi, radishes, romaine lettuce, cilantro and fresh eggs(grass fed and free to roam), with a little note inside that said they were laid with love by Becky, Debbie, Peggy and Jenny.
Here are the kids having their first taste. I sliced up some radishes and we went for it. As you can see, they were a little too spicy for M.
My goal is to eat our way through that box before next weeks pick-up on Wednesday. I think we can do it.I am feeling good about it! I have been checking out all kinds of sources to find recipes for what to do with what we have(thanks Colleen...she is a veteran box getter and has much more experience). I hope that i will have some exciting new recipes to share here. As for tonight, we promptly made a salad and enjoyed every bite!

Sounds like you have some good eats headed your way. :)
that's exactly how I feel about radishes...
Sarah
Mmm...fresh romaine lettuce is so delish!!! Oh and the stirfries you can make with the bok choy! Yum, Lez!!!!!
Love Mitchie's face!
You know Leslie, the french would make a butter and white bread sandwich with the radishes...I bet it still tastes like radishes though.
YOu are SOOOOOOOOOOOO lucky and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO envious. Cant wait to see/hear what you make.
i wanted to make a radish sandwich but i don't think Chris was totally sold on the idea. Maybe if i do like Ina and make herb butter for it then it would be a bigger hit. Sounds like a nice lunch. I hope we can do the box justice
Yummy! I really like radishes. Did Avery enjoy them?
she acted like she did, but when faced with another helping at dinner there was some protest!!!
fresh veggies :D I can't help but laugh when i see that picture of mitch - he looks pained. ENJOY!
Radishes! ewwwww!
