I think this sign says in big bold letters what we did today!!! And quite a haul we had...about 10 pounds of berries. I have plans for those berries...shortcake, strawberry/rhubart(says Mitchie) something, jam, random eating and some freezing for a later date. They sure were pretty, and sweet but a little tart too.

I am SOOOOOO envious of you and Dee living where produce is abundant...and ripe already? That's so fun. Can't wait to see what you make!
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM the strawberries look look so delicious.
looks like you guys had a nice fun filled day.
I am sad I didn't do the strawberries this year...our season is over too. :o(
Hey Mary, I am envious of you and Leslie and your ability to poach lilacs. I miss them EVERY spring.
ahh, but i don't have to poach anymore...i have a giant lilac in my backyard!!!
rub it in!
braggert...
Dee we have the shortest lilac season in the country. Like 4 days.
beautiful aren't they? I'll have my share tomorrow morning. Beth and I are going to spend an hour before the tourists hit the farm. No way are we picking anywhere near the amount we did last year!! I bought 2 boxes of the 4 oz. jars tonight.
