What did you do for spring break? We went north and then on a whim went further north. Chris wanted to get in a little more skiing before the season was done. This is the view from the top of Whiteface in Lake Placid.
This was the amazing view from our hotel room right in Lake Placid. It was amazing. Those things right in the middle are the ski jump towers from the 1980 winter olympics.
This last shot is a picture of the bobsled run all lit up from our hotel balcony. Cool right? we all had a lot of fun and i have lots more pictures to share. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I just wanted you to know that i am still here and have not fallen off the face of the earth.

I loved catching up on your blog. Love your sweet family~
beautiful shots! I just went up yesterday and did some cross country skiing with a friend. we had a huge storm move through so it was cold and snowy, but the skiing was fab!
Love skiing! Not the cold, just the fun and the challenge!
Thanks for such beautiful pictures and I'm glad you all had a good time!
Can't wait for you to post more and get back to sewing! LOL
Did you get to see ski jumpers? That is so amazing to watch.
I'm glad you all had a fun vacation but I'm happy you're back!!
what fun- Lake Placid is such a cool cool town! Last time I was there was the summer Champ did his Ironman and we got to watch the ski jumpers practice and land in pools of water.
Did you get to go to the Great Adirondack brewing company? Yummy food and I have a blue pint glass from there.
Anyway, have lots of fun! Excited to hear more.
Oh and ps- asked around about Lake George- so far the biggest fan favorite are the two indoor water parks.
Ah... so that's where you disappeared to. I hope you enjoyed your last bit of winter.
Love the bobsled pic!
Have a ball and get all that 'snowy stuff' out of your system, kids. We're ready for SPRING around here, and I expect that falling snow to disappear from your photos by..........EASTER !
You're killin' me here !
Have fun!
breathtaking pictures, Leslie! (I cant' get over how Washington-ish they look LOL)
WOW! I love the view's that you have. Here in Oklahoma everything is pretty flat. Looks like a fabulous time.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by my blog.
you've been a busy girl! Love the animal pictures but love the kid pictures more!
