While we were enjoying making some Ed Emberley characters, we discovered that our washable stamp pad was not that washable!!! Ugh!! It took days to get it off.

Oh, do I have a painting to show Avery at the NGA next time we get to DC! It's a huge portrait of an old woman all done in finger prints. Very cool to look at.
Ouch! That sounds like something we would have happen at our house...only on picture day, or somewhere where they would have their hands showing for all the world to see!
You, my dear, are a cool mom!
Bummer about the ink but the fingerprint pictures are wonderful.
hmm, how about:
"well at least that means their fingerprint artwork will never fade?"
that's all I got :)
so fun! too bad it wasn't washable though!
hehehehe - I've had many a messy fingered kid around. For some reason 'washable' never applies to your skin!
Looks fun, we need to get the old stamp pads out here as well.
cute! They did something like this at school the other day. No mess for me :)
paint+kiddo=FUN!
I drew "WHS #34" on Charlotte & Liam's cheeks for a basketball game we went to recently... thought I grabbed a red washable marker... I didn't even know I owned markers that weren't washable...that took days to come out, too...
Oh, how I remember doing this with my girls. I think I was the one who had the most fun!
