Through the Days with Mitchell

Does this make me a bad mom? look at that face...how was i to say no?
This is Mitchell praying for our first dead goldfish, Triton. The prayer was brief...he was a little too excited, in my opinion, to dump and flush that fish. Would i have taken these pictures if i did not have a blog?

Having a little veggie sushi, so that he can be more like Daddy. He was so confident until i opened the box and said eat it! But, i am proud to say, he did it. tried something new and actually liked it. I even ate some.

No picture to go with this one but it was sure funny...to me at least... we were going around the block today enjoying the nice weather...Mitch is on his scooter with a sweatshirt around his waist...he sees his shadow and then shouts back to me(with flair!), "I look like a Greek god!". He thought his shadow looked like he was wearing a toga. Only mitchell.

Oh my goodness, Leslie, we could have an entire blog entitled "Only Mitchell" or at least a repeating column!

You are a great mom because you let him try new things, encourage him to be brave and put a helmet on him!

I remember flushing our first fish. My boys thought it was cool too! Must be a guy thing!

Thanks for sharing him with us!

what a brave new world for him this week! Love it all! Bear just went on his first "motorcycle" ride- a quick jaunt around a friend's driveway on a 2 wheeler. I'd better not show him these pictures, then ;)

How fun! Yep, the helmet makes you an awesome mom (among other things). Cute name for the fish, Triton! I'm picturing him holding a pitchfork or whatever it was he held in The Little Mermaid movie.

LOL! I love this post! That boy cracks me up! I love the pics of him on the bike. I wont show E for fear he will be jealous!

Kind of sad about the fish--but yay for the sushi! Way to go to you and Mitchie!

Love the motorcycle pics - he looks absolutely thrilled. And your hubby looks so proud. :-)

I didn't mean to laugh so hard while reading a post about losing Triton.....but the irony of a sushi snack overwhelmed me. hahahaha

so sorry for his loss....glad it isn't scarring him for life.

LOVE reading about your life. ;)
