I admit that i have a tiny, obsessive love for playmobil toys. The pieces are so little and cute and the sets are so accurate but tiny. This was not a toy i had when i was little, but my neighbor had a bucket of them and i was rarely, if ever allowed to play with them. So...
The first stop on our vacation adventure was this lovely place...toy heaven for me and the kids...the Playmobil store in NJ. They loved it. And it was a great break for all of us. A chance to get out of the car and walk around, stretch, play and work out some energy(for the tiny crowd). You can see by the size of the bag Avery is holding that they came out of there with more than one thing. Yeah...fun! Check out Mitchie's pirate face.So this morning, now that we are finally home, the first thing the kids wanted to do was open the boxes and get to playing. We all had fun. Chris was assembling, i was setting up along with Avery and Mitch was thrilled to demolish it all. Note the red, ferocious dragon on the right side of the table. Here is the spread and set up. Usually Avery sticks to the left side with her farm and Mitch to the right with his knights and now dragon. The fun has begun

I think it's fabulous that the kids are encouraged to use their imagination so much!
