On our way home from vacation at my sisters house we stopped at the
Baltimore Aquarium. Wow!! It was fantastic, and huge! The kids had a really great time and it was a nice chance to get out of the car for a little while. Mitchie saw the puffin just as we were going in and in true Mitchell fashion, very outgoing, he right away ran over to hug it. Avery passed. I don't blame her.
What she was dying to see were the dolphins. She loves them. When we walked away from this exhibit she said she wanted to be a dolphin trainer. The world is hers so maybe someday that is just what she will be.
And what trip to the aquarium is complete without some sharks. It was fun to watch their faces as the sharks came past the window. i am sure mine was the same. :o)

Oh yes, we have a membership--it's only 1/2 hour from our house. The kids just love the whole shark walk thing.

Don't you sometimes wish you could go back when the whole world was yours to dream of? Dolphin trainer is as good as it gets.
btw--sharks are evil and eat people. Didn't you ever see Jaws? They can hunt you down wherever you are.

we went to the Aquarium at the Mall of America last spring and it was amazing. a great place to take the kids.
