Sarah, you will appreciate this...just as i was beginning to write this post Dolly's song "coat of many colors" came on randomly on our stereo!!! i was listening to it on shuffle. How weird is that? A song about a coat of many colors just as i was going to write about it....spooky! I love that song....thanks for giving me Dolly.
I digress, last night we spent a little family craft time working on a project for history class. The story of the world is full of crafts and activities to do based on each chapter. This past chapter we read about Joseph and his coat of many colors....We made a paper bag vest, and then i let her have at it. I swear she chose the rainbow colors and order, i had nothing to do with it...although i admit that i love that that is how she did it...and i especially like her arrangement.
Does she have any idea how cute she is? It seems like lately all she wants to do is make funny faces for the camera. Although, she is a excellent model even with the silly face. She was very proud of her vest....

Why Avery, it looks like it could be a quilt pattern!! You did a great job.
i love you for loving Dolly with me... "it's hard to be a country girl living in a rhinestone world"... or so I've always thought.
