Aunt Colleen had the great idea to go on a picture safari while we were in NYC. She and i worked out a list while we were riding the train there. The girls took pictures of the things they were looking for and in some cases we took picture of them with the things. This first one was a "tall building", not too hard to come by in NYC. Avery found one she liked and took the picture. I love the perspective a short person. It is a awesome picture.
Next was a "manhole cover"...yes they are everywhere....but Avery thought that they were boring so i got her in the picture to make it more fun. Silly girl.
Also on the list was a "street vendor". I loved this one. I intended to come back here to have lunch, but that did not work out. What is more NY than a hot dog vendor on the city street?
We also had things like street lights, pigeons, a street sign with a number in it(which is the picture above that Avery took), old building, a really cool store, a horse and a street musician. We found all but those last two.

I am so jealous. I miss going into the city. I havent been since 99 or 2000. :o(
I was going to say the same thing as Dee--I miss going to the city as well. Looks like a fun girls trip.
Nice pictures Avery! Maybe it was too cool for the musicians. I wonder if they still have the horse drawn carriage rides?
It was fun, Leslie. Let's do it again!!
